Boston Globe prints fake front page satirizing Trump

BOSTON — The editorial board of The Boston Globe is using a satirical front page to express its uneasiness with a potential Donald Trump presidency.

The newspaper has printed a satirical front page for its Sunday “Ideas” section. The page is dated April 9, 2017, and features a large photo of Trump below dominant headline that reads “Deportations to Begin.” The accompanying story has Trump calling on Congress to fund a deportation program amid protests.

Yeah, that'll work.

Super delegates have already been getting messages from Sanders supporters. One sample:

"They said, you know, you should go to hell," said Ensley, describing another message. "How dare you vote against your own interests as an African-American woman. I expected you would be smarter than that."
Of course only a handful of folks are like this and it doesn't reflect on the candidate but...

...OOOH MY GOD YOU GUYS LOOK, MAN THAT LOOKS BAD FOR SANDERS, JUST SAYIN'!

I support Bernie Sanders for POTUS.
I'm done arguing over what he can and can't do.
I'm done defending him against Hillary supporters.
I'm done defending him against smear campaigns.
I'm done defending him against lies.

I'm voting Sanders as POTUS. Best of the two Non conservatives running.
If Hillary wins the nomination. I'll vote for her with ZERO expectations from her funders, defenders, and incrementalizers.
I expect nothing to change under Clinton, and I expect more war. But she will not be Drumpf or Schmooz.

So You know where I stand. I'll go back to talking **** about Crazy Conservatives, Corporate/Cowardly Democrats, racists, bigots, and big money interests.

Now now. I can think of other uses responsible gun owners can have for the iGun:
    • Hijacking airplanes.
    • Robbing banks.
    • School shootings.

Remember, when the iGun gets outlawed, only outlaws will have the iGun.

Josh Marshall on Denny Hastert's rise to power.

    http://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/...-the-awfulness

As you can see in this story here, we are now getting the details of what we've suspected or known in outline since the news first broke last year: that Denny Hastert, the longest serving Republican Speaker of the House in history, second in the line to the presidency for eight years, was a serial pedophile who preyed on adolescent boys in his charge when he was a high school wrestling coach before entering electoral politics. What is worth remembering is that Hastert's improbable rise to the pinnacle of political power in Washington was a direct consequence of Republican party efforts to exploit and eventually criminalize Bill Clinton's extramarital sex life in order to overturn the 1992 and 1996 presidential elections. The chain of events is clear and straightforward.

I probably won't be crying a river for them.

Set up a jive system like the current one, and this is the sunniest obvious outcome of doing so.

They were just asking for it.

Super delegates don't "represent people" I'm not elected by anyone. I'll do what I think is right for the country
If not, it's the next best thing to asking for it.

So wait... you went from complaining about Hillary getting superdelegates, to presenting a rose-colored glasses view of Bernie's chances where all of the superdelegates change their mind and jump behind Bernie... to now you're comfortable with them getting doxxed and harassed?

That's a wee bit fickle of you.

    Hardly.

If you set up a game where complaints about it being rigged are out in the open, the best possible outcome is using that it is rigged to try to beat it.

I'm incredibly comfortable with said rigged game being treated like exactly what it is. Anyone on the inside of that game is totally free to give up their position in it if phone calls and social media scolding is too much for them to contend with.

So you're fine if the game is rigged in favor of the candidate you support, but if you perceive it's rigged in favor of the one you loathe, you're highly upset, and fine with those you think are slighting you being harassed, for not rigging it for your tastes.

At least you're being honest about your hypocrisy.

    Speaking of delegates:

Trump’s Convention Strategy: “The Fix Is In”

From Roger Stone, Trump's on again, off again consigliere:

"We will disclose the hotels and the room numbers of those delegates who are directly involved in the steal. If you’re from Pennsylvania, we’ll tell you who the culprits are. We urge you to visit their hotel and find them. You have a right to discuss this, if you voted in the Pennsylvania primary, for example, and your votes are being disallowed."
Call me crazy, but isn't that sort of intimidation well, illegal?
