I'm hearing the 2016 GOP Platform itself will have a special policy section dedicated to bathroom transphobia.

That's part of a winning formula of a party ready to govern, if I've ever heard it. (sarcasm, of course)

Louis Gohmert defended legislation to prevent trans people from using the bathroom that matches their gender identity by saying that when he was a teenager, he would have done so just so he could ogle the girls at his school.

It's a bad meme because people that support it are missing the point of the picture. The picture was used as a motivational aid for the importance of imagination. Here's the quote from the company, Successories

Message: What we can easily see is only a small percentage of what is possible. Imagination is having the vision to see what is just below the surface; to picture that which is essential, but invisible to the eye.

By using that picture, it's saying that Bernie has more supporters than you realize if you use your imagination.

"Bernie has more supporters than you realize if you use your imaginaation." - a sentance written like that, to me, invokes the idea of "imaginary voters" much like you might say "imaginary friends".

A politician shouldn't have to depend on Imagination for their supporters, their supporters should be out in the open, active, voting and most importantly real.

Note that I have made no opinions on this. I just posted it because I thought it was worth posting and sharing.

Yeah, it's part of a pattern by a few posters trying to bring up anything but the difference between Hillary and Bernie on the issues, usually involving a##holes that aren't tied to or involved with the Sanders campaign but are set up as substitutes by Hillary supporters, and then the "just puttin' it out there".

I remember speculation that the Colorado Springs abortion clinic shooter Robert Dear was a bank robber or a random nut, but the latest testimony puts lie to that. He was definitely an anti-abortion terrorist who was inspired by other abortion clinic shooters and that fake fetal tissue video circulated by irresponsible politicians like Carly Fiorini.

The documents unsealed on Monday in Colorado suggest that Mr. Dear had long admired violent opponents of abortion. After a standoff with the police, Mr. Dear was arrested and told a Colorado Springs detective that he revered Paul Hill, who was executed in Florida in 2003 for killing an abortion provider and his volunteer escort.

Mr. Dear said that Mr. Hill “was somebody he thought very highly of,” according to an affidavit attached to a search warrant.

He said he had posted messages on a website for Mr. Hill, and had posted other anti-abortion and anti-government messages.

This makes me wonder just how many fundamentalist Christian psychiatrists there are out there. I mean, I can't see too many of them getting past Freud's theory of penis envy in Psych 101.

Speculation, maybe these states that are passing these Anti-LGBT laws are doing so now because the Supreme Court is One Short and they figure that, if it gets challenged there is a good chance that the supreme court will be split 50-50 and be unable to enforce LGBT Rights laws.

At least that is what they may be thinking.

But if the court were tied on a lgbt rights issue now, it would have voted against gays when Scalia was still around, so how would that work?
