Oh, believe me, the world is.
Everyone's pissed here about his remarks, and him supporting Neo Nazis.
But then, it's the same guy who went
""Putin’s is a killer," O'Reilly said in the interview.
"There are a lot of killers," Trump responded. "Got a lot of killers. What, do you think our country's so innocent?""
who was ready to throw the US under the bus for Putin.

If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them.

Campbell Soup CEO has left as well...
...and wouldn't you know it? Trump has just disbanded his council as of five minutes ago. Rather than lose, he took the ball and ran home.

Wow, didn't he just two days ago rage about how every businessman who leaves can simply be replaced?
Stay winning there, Cheeto Burger.

Well, it's certainly true that Trump is extremely unpopular in the UK, particularly London, which he might well bypass.
However, I'm afraid that there are people and politicians who are Trump fans, such as pre-eminently the former leader of UKIP, Nigel Farage, who continually tweets his support and appreciation of Trump; Jacob Rees-Mogg MP, who some people are talking about as even being a potential future leader of the Conservative Party; and Melanie Phillips, Breitbart fan, denouncer of "cultural Marxism" and the "deep state"; assorted other commentators.
Still, they do form a small minority, albeit a vociferous one, so I think May will try to shelve the visit indefinitely, despite the fact that US trade is vital to the UK's post Brexit plans.

This is important.
Trump tries to frame it as HIM disbanding it.
It is not so.
The business leaders chose to dissolve the council in order to "condemn" the president's comments about the Charlottesville violence, the same member said. The member described Trump's defiant press conference on Tuesday as a "tripwire."
They had heard from employees and customers about the council.
"There really was nothing to debate," the member said.
Several members of a separate Trump manufacturing council stepped down in recent days.https://www.cnbc.com/2017/08/16/a-se...isbanding.htmlAfter the members agreed to disband and condemn Trump's statements, the president said he would end both the Strategic and Policy Forum and the manufacturing council.
There was nothing left to disband.
The business leaders already had done so.

Hillary was also the second least popular presidential candidate ever.
Being the most admired woman is a bit meaningless since 13 percent of the vote is enough to win it many years (her average was 16 percent, which isn't enough to win an election.)
http://www.gallup.com/poll/187922/cl...20th-time.aspx
It's not fair to say she was bound to lose, since the election was close, but she was not a strong candidate (imagine how she would have done against someone who wasn't the least popular presidential candidate ever.)
What should be done? And do you really think Nazis are going to triumph if the media isn't loud enough in denouncing them?
Sincerely,
Thomas Mets

Impeach and clean out the current administration, make the 2018 election a presidential one and reset the clock
that's what SHOULD be done
