On the other side of the pond, conservatives in the UK are debating the merits of capitalism.
Marx must be rolling in his grave! Capitalism, by almost imperceptible degrees, is morphing into something akin to socialized capital - a euphemism for the otherwise dirty word of socialism.
As the British lower classes are getting poorer under the Conservative government, perhaps it's time to call a spade a spade.
And Brexit is rapidly approaching no deal.
It is beginning to look like this is what the Tories want.

“You’re making it fall apart.” Chris Cuomo nails smirking GOP rep for sabotaging Obamacare
Trump and his fellow Republicans have been unable to pass a real replacement for Obamacare, so they're just going to destroy it instead.

Trump seems to get joy over others suffering.

This the same stuff in the link I read in a magazine and heard in a political talk show about Germany`s future but social systems and capitalism aren't a contradiction.
The big rift in most of the western world isn't about social structures but about the problem which liberal economic and liberal society transformation brought.
In the economic you have a lot of deindustrialization and poor paid Job and little to no increase for a huge junk of the population of their real wages over decades. You can fix this with more education and better tax politics/systems which is independent of the companies mother country. (or better said it is the start which is necessary)
In some way I see a perversion of the system a new tax system is key but with such huge international companies on one side and on the other a huge compensation for lost jobs in form of money. You have something like a privatized planned economy. I personal hope instead we get a big breakthrough with 3D printers so that we can most of out stuff produce themselves.
The liberal society I think is more a project here in Europe in the end its suppressed a lot of identities which where key after the church lost his mayor role in society in the second half of the 20th centaury.
It is a bit hard to explain because I think this much more a spiritual problem basically you are under constant attack of the medias when you are someone of these:
* A very religiose person.
* A macho
* A woman who wants kids instead of a career
* A nationalist
* A antiglobalist
.
.
.
In the end a lot of people get stepped on the toe at least once and on the other hand we have huge problems and the politics often says that they have no other choice then to make it worse.(They don't say it but it what everyone hear)and then say what the people actually wants would make it worse with little proof of it and the medias support it. People get lost and getting rebellious under this this is what feed the right-wings in Europe.
They don't really have a "Plan". If they did, things wouldn't be happening by Executive Order. What they have is no real plan and some guesses at how the market might work under a set of circumstances that will likely never happen.
Alright, Dr. Gori was the villain(depending on your point of view) of the US version of the series Spectreman. Here's a halfway decent breakdown...
