Roy Moore is the last straw, you can now call me a Democrat

The GOP would rather elect a sexual predator who preys on teenagers than a prosecutor who happens to be a Democrat. That's it, I'm switching parties.

Florida rally cheers when Republican predicts Trump’s Jerusalem embassy decision may usher in Armageddon

conservative politician at President Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Pensacola, Florida suggested that the president’s controversial decision to move the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem may usher in the biblical end times.

Republican state Senator Doug Broxson represents the Florida Panhandle in the legislature and gave an introductory speech welcoming President Trump to Florida.

“Now, I don’t know about you, but when I heard about Jerusalem — where the King of Kings [applause] where our soon coming King is coming back to Jerusalem, it is because President Trump declared Jerusalem to be capital of Israel,” Sen. Broxson predicted.

He was interviewed a few times on MSNBC about this. There was another person, I can't remember his name, but he made a similar comment saying he's left the Republican Party and registered as an Independent. The least talked about Trickle Down is the Trickle Down of Republicans leaving the Party in disgust.

But that's just the fraction of the GOP educated enough to have high ranking jobs in the party or the media. Trump's support among Republicans is pretty stable, and in line with previous Republican presidents.

Anyone who cheers for Armageddon is a horrible excuse for a human being.

We Got Government Data On 20 Years Of Workplace Sexual Harassment Claims. These Charts Break It Down.

BuzzFeed News received a trove of data on every sexual harassment claim filed between fiscal years 1995 and 2016 with the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, a federal agency that enforces laws meant to protect workers from discrimination.

The more than 170,000 claims, which didn’t include identifying details, represent just a sliver of the countless incidents in the everyday workplace that don’t receive prominent attention or go unnoticed. Overall, women filed 83% of the claims; men filed 15%. The remaining 2% didn’t specify a gender. BuzzFeed News has published the data here.

In other words, the loyal drones of the GOP will dutifully follow Trump’s lead, morality be damned because they have none to begin with.

Well, those nutbags cheered because of the rapture and that they’d go home to heaven and all that nonsense.

Why do people who support the likes of Trump and Roy Moore assume that Heaven is where they will end up? It strikes me as 'entitlement'. We can do anything we want and still be entitled to be best afterlife money can buy.

It must be so easy being a nihilist. You simply say, "A pox on both your houses!" and then just sit back and do nothing. You know, since no matter who's in charge, it will all turn to crap anyway, why bother?

We've theorized that while Trump is just an idiot, that a large portion of his die-hard supporters might be nihilists content to blow up the world because they hate the status quo, but don't see any way out but down. WAY DOWN.

There's your proof. Their hopes are limited to "F*** minorities, liberals, and women!", at best. But now, they're taking a darker turn.

And even if Trump is impeached or falls victim to the 25th Amendment and takes Pence, Eddie Munster and Turtle Boy with him, those lunatics will still be around, looking to vote for another madman who promises to burn everything down if elected president.

Seriously how did Democrats lose to the Donald? It's like losing to the Venus de Milo in an arm wrestling contest.

You're looking at it the wrong way.

This was not Clinton versus Trump.
This was Clinton versus half a century of Republic fear- and hate-mongering, undermining thrust in your government, undermining education, and spewing non-stop nihilistic propaganda in the air, undermining voting rights...

The Republicans are apparently smarter than generally given credit for and have been playing the long game.

    Backlash (whitelash) against Obama.
    Russian interference.
    Misogyny.
Long standing campaign against Hillary Clinton specifically.
    Voter Suppression.

    Need I go on?
