So, I actually got to take in a little coverage of this whole "Omarosa" business tonight. To me, it almost feels like it might not be on the level and it's a smoke bomb they tossed to try to make it a little harder to get a view of what was going to be a bad day.

It's almost too kooky to actually be.

No one outside the WH seemed to be clear on what her role actually was, or what her qualifications were

I think it was just a combination of another loss for the Rs, coupled with everything else going on, she was a casualty

looks like the Disney/Fox deal is done

$52 Billion in assorted assets with some additional debt - the total deal is about $66 BILLION

Disney gets: 20th Century Fox, FX and National Geographic, Foxs ownership stake in Hulu making Disney a 60 percent majority owner

Fox keeps: Fox News, Fox Sports, some other assets

Disney instead of launching a separate whole streaming service should just use HULU. They own a big piece of it and have an established streaming service. Why launch a brand new one that will struggle . They have Fox and Disney shows and movies to pipe right into Hulu and they are a majority owner (and eventually could push for the 40% stake left).

Because in HULU they can put more adult stuff while in their own streaming service they can put more family friendly stuff? just a theory

that might be what happens, or they may have a Disney portal within Hulu

not really, they aren't wholly absorbing Fox, just some of their assets

It seems right now as long as he keeps his base of around 30% (who are not the ones who won him the election), he is looked on as still successful.

Under 30%, under 25%? When will he be seen as the failure he is? He is failing at everything but destroying all that is good in this country and tearing it apart.

That was not the polls themselves, that was models calculating a likelihood based on what the various polls out there were saying. And the models didn't react to the noticeable shift after Comey's weird "But her e-mails!" moment in the polls.The average of polls never predicted a landslide in the sense of her having a double digit lead in the popular vote.

I guess I don't understand how so many sources were practically guaranteeing a Clinton victory the night before then. Was that just wishful thinking?
