The election is two years away. By then Oprah will be pushed aside by someone else. There are plenty of more qualified women of color, mayors, senators, and so on who deserve the chance more than she does.

That's how I felt about Trump two years ago when he ran against multiple sitting Governors, multiple former Governors, and multiple Senators.

Sometimes I don't know whether to pity her or not. I think it was a marriage of convenience. Her modeling career was going nowhere and she was getting older. He probably was trading up for a younger wife. He was probably getting too old for the dating scene and wanted an attractive option at home. And she gets to be Mrs Trump and live in a penthouse. There doesn't appear to be any affection between them.

One wonders if had he not decided to run for office if they would have eventually divorced.
