Also we have a problem with homemade guns in places like Colombia, Brazil, Peru and Ecuador.

homemade weapons that are composed of several, and can be made of any material: plastic, polyethylene, plastisilina, mud, stones, metal, wood, and any other stupidity that you can think of.

This is what the fallout guns would look like if the fallout universe was realistic

Look at the video is in Spanish but they show you how it works, basically you put the shotgun cartridge and then you pump the pipe like in the video.

Also the other pipe is a .22 cal pistol, there is even a video on how to make it.

The irony of all of this is that Trump is still a better president than the last Republican who was in office.

Re-reading this just shows me how stupid some of these arguments are -- even when you map it out for some people, they still don't get it.
That might be the most groan inducing post in this discussion. For someone who many times has said “I have no interest in arguing”, you seem to like to interject yourself into arguments quite a great deal. Listen again the reality is you made unsophisticated arguments deliberately intended to ignore the nuance of certain issues for the benefit of your arguments. So when you claim someone else’s argument is “stupid”, I’d remind you of how many times in the single issue alone you weren’t very forthcoming on what the true status of it is to the American electorate. Your overall argument in even your quote was a men vs women concept, Republicans and Trump/Pence were examples you attached at the end to further add description, not the actual point of the argument you laid out.

Someone doesn’t get it, it’s just not the person you think it is

The shotgun issued to U.S. soldiers for WWI had a design flaw which allowed rapid fire if you kept the trigger down - the chambering action from the pump had enough force that it would set off the shell being chambered. The soldiers using it didn't consider it a flaw at all. I imagine the pipe gun works the same way, even if it only has one shot.

Yes and sadly this is getting forgotten. The GOP were planning this since Obama's second term. Not only did they rob him of the naming someone for the Scalia vacancy on the Supreme Court, they stonewalled and killed many judicial nominations for court vacancies by using "blue slips".

Typical of politicians, the article notes how the GOP wanted to abolish the practice because as Sen. Tom Cotton (R) whined back in May 2017 "“we can’t allow Democratic senators to continue to obstruct this president’s agenda.”

It also allows for a defense of Republicans on the grounds that officeholders secretly support the right side in a controversial issue, but aren't willing to be on the record about it for political convenience. Just like Democrats.
    If you say so.

Like I said before -- all I wanted to know is how you could justify supporting the Republican party after all they've done to drag this nation into the gutter.

So now that you've cleared that up, there's nothing really left to "debate".

Even if they aren't in leadership roles right now, there are still good republicans out there. They are mostly NeverTrumpers though, heh.

Here are a couple recent pieces I liked by NeverTrumpers:

I’m Glad I Got Booed at CPAC, by Mona Charen

    and

Fights Worth Having, by my favorite conservative columnist, despite being a climate change denier, Bret Stephens

If Trump didn't have the Republicans bending over backwards to cover for him, how many things has he either been known to have done or there is a strong possibility that he has done them that would/might have gotten him either forced to testify in front of Congress, brought up on charges and/or impeached? or would have for just about any other President?

    • Extra-Marital Affair with at least one porn actress, maybe more
    • Allegations of sexual misconduct with more than a dozen women
    • Sharing classified information with the Russians
    • Refusing to order his Administration to take actions to defend against Russian interference
    • Refusing to enact sanctions made into law by Congress against the Russians
    • Nepotism
    • Using the Presidency for Financial Gain/violating Emoluments clause
    • Failure to fully staff every Department of the Executive Branch
    • Racism/sympathizing with White Supremacists and Neo-Nazis
    • Possibly receiving money or items of equal value as campaign donations from foreign entities.
    • Coverup of the Trump Tower meeting
    • Questionable business practices with ties to organized crime and money laundering.
    • Failure to release Income Taxes
    • Political and other support of known sexual predators
    • Violating the 'Only one President at a Time' rule by creating back-channels with Russian and other foreign leaders before assuming office.
    • Obstruction of Justice starting with the firing of James Comey.
    • Allowing Administration employees to use private servers for sending and receiving official government email.

While not a written in stone requirement, Trump has yet to release his income taxes like every other president/presidential candidate, something Obama would've been crucified for to the nth degree by Republicans, right wingers and Faux News if he held his back.

Not arguing at all -- just clarifying a few points from the previous discussion.

And for further clarification, the reference to "stupidity" had to do with the argument itself --- not your chosen perspective on the issue nor your deliberate ignorance of the fact that I directly pointed out that I was referring to Christian, conservative Republican "men" (and whatever conservative judges they appoint) in my post.

Anyway, keep on fighting with the people who share your political views on the vast majority of issues if that makes you feel better -- it's already clear that's what you're going to do regardless of any "arguments" to the contrary.
