I hope President Varela tells Trump's flunkies to fuck themselves. Trying to pressure a head of state to intervene in a legal matter that has nothing to do with the actual affairs of the country is all kinds of scummy, maybe even illegal. And I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Beavis and/or Butthead (Don Junior and Eric) were behind that scheme.

Yeah, they're stupid enough to try and pull that off. It is their version of "I'm gonna tell my Daddy on you!"

BOTH SIDES are reporting a flurry of leaks coming out of the White House that President Trump "certainly believes he has the power” to fire Special Counsel Mueller, that the Mueller probe "has gone too far," and the raid has confirmed their worst fear - "the Mueller probe is a run away train." Sanders is parroting a lot of this now, too.

It's about to get interesting folks.

Place your bets.....will Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan find their cajones and start talking impeachment if Trump pulls the trigger on Mueller? I'd say 2-1 against.

According to a statement released on Tuesday by the US Attorney for the District of Connecticut, the 36-year-old allegedly initially told officers that a woman with "brown hair and a scarf" was carrying a device on a train travelling from Washington DC to New York City.

Some theories out there that he was trying to get a woman into trouble who'd accused him of inappropriate behavior.

Kind of a big deal for the GOP out in Colorado...

One of the GOP Primary candidates for Governor, Walker Stapleton, pulled his name off the ballot because the company he paid to help him get signatures to be on the ballot, Kennedy Enterprises, he fears has been committing fraud. This news comes on the heels of incumbent GOP Congressman Doug Lamborn (Colorado's 5th Congressional District) getting tripped up by some of his primary challengers for doing the same thing, meaning he may also be ineligible to run for re-election in 2018, as well as a GOP candidate for Colorado State Treasurer, Polly Lawrence.

If Rep. Lamborn's out because of legal chicanery in garnering signatures, that means Darryl Glenn and Owen Hill are running for his seat unopposed. Both are bonkers-ass extremists, and the possibility of the GOP losing a seat in what should be a safe red district by running only kooks arises.

All Republicans have to do is join with Democrats in passing special legislation that would prevent Trump from being able to fire Mueller. But that would mean confronting the Tyrant Toddler, and Republicans don’t have the stomach for that. From what I saw on CNN while at the gym, they have no plans to bring that legislation to the table, saying in so many words that it won’t be needed, believing calmer heads will prevail and Trump will back down from his threats. Yeah, right.

He's done in show business. If it were just one or the other, inappropriate behavior, or a false bomb threat that he could say was just a joke, maybe he could come back from it. But with the false bomb threat as a way to get out of the accusations of inappropriate behavior? He's done.
