Avoid Gulf stream disruption at all costs, scientists warn
Serious disruption to the Gulf Stream ocean currents that are crucial in controlling global climate must be avoided “at all costs”, senior scientists have warned. The alert follows the revelation this week that the system is at its weakest ever recorded.
Past collapses of the giant network have seen some of the most extreme impacts in climate history, with western Europe particularly vulnerable to a descent into freezing winters. A significantly weakened system is also likely to cause more severe storms in Europe, faster sea level rise on the east coast of the US and increasing drought in the Sahel in Africa.
The new research worries scientists because of the huge impact global warming has already had on the currents and the unpredictability of a future “tipping point”.
The currents that bring warm Atlantic water northwards towards the pole, where they cool, sink and return southwards, is the most significant control on northern hemisphere climate outside the atmosphere. But the system, formally called the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (Amoc), has weakened by 15% since 1950, thanks to melting Greenland ice and ocean warming making sea water less dense and more buoyant.
This represents a massive slowdown – equivalent to halting all the world’s rivers three times over, or stopping the greatest river, the Amazon, 15 times. Such weakening has not been seen in at least the last 1,600 years, which is as far back as researchers have analysed so far. Furthermore, the new analyses show the weakening is accelerating.

Liberals in Strange Places
GUESS which state has the highest interest in impeaching President Trump.
It’s Montana. Montana?
Montana has made the most Google searches with the words “impeach” and “Trump.” These searches include “how to impeach Trump” and “impeach Trump petition.”
Alaska and Idaho are also in the top 10.
How can Montana, Alaska and Idaho be among the leaders in showing interest about impeaching a Republican president? Does this mean that the impeachment movement has quietly gone mainstream, capturing the interest of die-hard Republicans living in the heart of conservative America?
Nope.
To understand why impeachment interest is so high in Montana and similar states, we have to broaden our understanding of the political geography of the United States.

Here's the problem. Establishment and Corporate Democrats will win this fall.
Here's what they will do if say they get a Majority or even a Super Majority.
They will run Milquetoast policies and do no actual change because the GOP will talk bad about them if they do anything to help us.
Then in two years they will lose and blame it on the History of the Pendulum swing from one party to the other.
They will run on and win on Trump Bad Sad.
They'll do nothing and be voted out next term. Then blame it on the Pendulum.
America is super Liberal and Progressive MOST polls show this even Republican-leaning polls.
So my one request is RUN TO THE LEFT, Stop trying to woo Republicans.
There is NO evidence of Assad Gasing his people this year.
US has no evidence of Syrian use of sarin gas, Mattis says
'We have the proof' Syria used chemical weapons, French President Emmanuel Macron says
Pentagon slow-rolls Syria strike, worried about the evidence and legal basis for attackAs for a response, "We have to make a decision at the right moment, when we will consider it useful and the most effective,” Macron said, adding that he is "working closely" with the United States.
But the international watchdog charged with independently verifying the chemical attack, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), has not yet been given access to the site of the alleged chemical attack in Douma.
The Latest: Russia says no evidence of gas attack in DoumaDespite President Trump's warnings that a U.S. attack on Syria may be imminent, the Pentagon moved cautiously Friday out of concern it may not have legal justification for an assault because it hasn't confirmed that Syrian forces used a banned nerve agent in an attack on civilians near Damascus last weekend.
The wariness may be aimed at restraining the White House from ordering a multi-day campaign of heavy airstrikes on multiple Syrian targets. It also could be a smokescreen to buy time while the U.S. and its allies, including England and France, move more warships and other military resources into position.
Two U.S. guided missile destroyers armed with cruise missiles are in, or on the way to, the eastern Mediterranean and a U.S. carrier task force, led by the Harry S. Truman, is also en route.
Defense Secretary James N. Mattis has warned that wide-scale military reprisals using manned bombers could spiral into a direct clash with Russia, which has installed a sophisticated network of ground-to-air missiles in Syria, or pull the Trump administration deeper into the war if Syria, Iran or other proxies respond by attacking U.S. forces in the country.
French report lays out the evidence: Assad forces conducted chemical attack on civilians
Lets see the Actual details and evidence. Even then, we do not need to be going to War or attacking another nation based on Non National Security Interests.
If this is the case, why aren't we Bombing Yemen? Why aren't we helping those "Women and Children (Because men aren't valuable I guess, lol.)?

The current military action was in response to more recent events.
