I'm not sure if that's news. I assume that's his new campaign slogan.

The world shall wait for the ACLU and media to go berserk about this political and/or racial discrimination story. Special training. Day of closure.
I'm unable to click on the link. what ethnicity(ies) were the employees?

Unclear due to Cheesecake F keeping their identities private (and the customer not specifying about that from what I've read). But a racial slur was used against the customer.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

It doesn't say, but the MAGA moron was black. Regardless of race in this case: Unless the customer is causing trouble the employees should never get involved in anything like this.

yes, a racial slur. but that wasn't specified either. was it some black employee saying "N-word wearing a trump hat? I can't believe this ****?" I need context. I've seen a number of videos where people will hurl a racial slur because someone hurled a racial slur at them.

of course not. it's ignorant, rude, and it puts them at risk of being fired. even then, I'd bet you that the guy wears the hat to provoke people. I don't feel badly for him.

I know, I know, rhetorical question, Trump did it to kiss Netenyahu's ass and fulfill a campaign promise to his lemmings whose support is keeping him afloat. Still, to risk inflaming that perpetually volatile situation even more than it already is now was absolute folly, if not blatant negligence on his part.
It's a long and very very complicated history stretching as far back as the Austria-Hungery Empire and the Holy Roman one. My guess, there's probably a business deal in the works with the Israeli business tycoons there, and more than likely a few other factors. He went to Jared has family ties there I think, and Netenyahu also has ties to business. I wouldn't be surprised if after a short period of time we hear about the building of a Trump Tower in one of the other larger cities in the country. While I do think it's also a case of "No one else did it so we will do it." I also think there's more about money and land being put up.

And they were not accompanied by similar violence within Israel or in the West Bank, or elsewhere in the Middle East (there has been violence in the Middle East, but it has all been clearly unconnected). The demonstrations were meant to culminate on 'Nakba Day.' There's no way to know if this would have happened anyway as a result of the 70th anniversary of Israel/the Nakba or if it was nothing more than an attempt to draw attention to the Palestinians in light of all the other issues in the Middle East and North Korea. Supporters of the move would say that Hamas and those who use the opening of an embassy as an excuse for violence should have a veto. Who is right? To quote that saying about the results of the French Revolution, 'it's too soon to say.'
Riots because Jersulem is not a city that is made for politics. It shouldn't be. Much like Rome and the Vatican City, it really should be a place on to it's own. I'm pretty sure there would be riots here if someone wanted to put I don't know, I embassy on the lawns of the Memorials in Washington DC. It's kind of the same idea here. You don't go putting political buildings in this city. Outside of the main ones that you would need (like a mayors office and the like). It's bad for not only moral but you're pretty much firmly desecrating land that would be considered sacred to not only Jewish people but Muslims and Christians.

Not a good revolution to quote.

It makes sense from some of the reporting the countries that are deciding to follow trump in this its likely they want to curry favor in their own way by being "supportive of trump". They certainly aren't doing it to follow any kind of mid east peace plan. Cause where is it?
I am not surprised by this. Austria has a lot of issues over WWII and their connection, Hungary was where the Zionist movement began, the Czech republic was pretty much screwed over by the Brits and French and got sucked in by Germany and also have a bit of a guilt thing going on there, and I have no idea of Romania. History has a lot of connections with these places and Israel. And yeah I'm not at all shocked they don't want to move there and piss off people too.

Truth is there's an easier way to divide all this...Northern half of Israel was the Kingdom of Israel and Judah. Southern half was Palestine near the curve by Iraq. Why not just split it like that, Northern half Israel, southern half Palestine, and Jerusalem pretty much like Rome or Vatican city.

Now does that mean that there shouldn't be consequences for it. No, absolutely not, but Civil liberties include the liberties of those that are just play ignorant people. If they didn't side with them and side with the fact that they did all their paperwork and were following the law in regard to their right to march, then I would say they are being hypocritical.

And yes I am defending the ACLU here because there could come a point when you'll need them to back you up too.

Ha. I just heard that they're starting up a whole thing about the 2020 campaign on Morning Joe. This is just sad. He hasn't been in office 16 months and already we're planning things. Jeeze.

Yup, he has the right to wear that damn ugly hat, the employees don't have the right to act like jerks to him, regardless of their feelings. They have the right to say what they wanted, but consequences happened. This is freedom of speech at work.

As an Independent Democratic Socialist I love this... The Term Socialist does NOT have the same meaning it used to. You can't scare us with Moderates like Manchin, Warner, Heidkamps, etc.

Socialists and Progressives Just Trounced the Democratic Establishment
On Tuesday, insurgent challengers beat out their opponents in races across the country by running on bold left platforms.

I would suspect black. Because I can't see a white one using a slur on a Black Trump Supporter.

Unless it was used in saying "the person you supports hates (bleep)".

Well, I mean, people didn't vote for his primary opponent in sufficient enough numbers to beat him so we have to hope he wins, even if he'll continue to disappoint in key ways.

On the other hand, Manchin is a vote for Dems being able to set the agenda, sooooo...
Considering how he votes, we'll see. You have more hope in that Douche han me that's for sure. Considering he votes with Trump more than Democrats.

Paulette Jordan, running to be the first Native American governor, wins Idaho’s Democratic primary
She’s a young, progressive face in the state’s Democratic Party.

Love it. Run as a Progressive, and see what happens. They always say stop running women, because it's Identity Politics, stop running minorities and for Gods Sake Run to the Middle or even to the Right and you'll win.

Nope, She ran to the Left and won a place Democrats don't win.
