Being a celebrity running for political office with no political experience didn't hamper Donald Trump in any way. So, who's to say Nixon can't succeed if she runs a solid and competent campaign and, more importantly, gets people to believe her message.

Nixon has been politically active for a while, this is just the first time she's run for an office as opposed to activism. She's mainly supported public education, LGBT rights, women's rights, and reproductive rights. She's also campaigned for Obama, All Franken, and Bill de Blasio.

So... ah, remember the story about George Takei being accused of sexual assault. wellllllllll...

Read the article to it entirety. It's very good and well researched. Either way, this is... wow.

And how did that turn out for the rest of us?

It isn't Trump's inexperience that is the issue, it's willful continued ignorance, coupled with his many other flaws. Trump doesn't know and refuses to be taught, exacerbating the problem.

Plus, Nixon has at least been politically active as an advocate and occasional campaigner for well over a decade.

Yeah, it's not Trump's inexperience or his celebrity that makes him a bad president. It's his personality, views and actions.

When you strip all that away, the inexperience is a problem, too. It just gets drowned out by the other shit.

Imagine how much worse he would be if he had some actual experience and a clue as to what he was doing.

Let's just ignore all of that, and try to figure out how to make excuses for HRC.

IMO, it's that 'unwillingness to learn' part that's the larger issue. Inexperience can be corrected with time, provided you have someone willing to learn from both others and their own mistakes. Trump insists he is the smartest person in the room on every subject and doubles down on mistakes.

A smart leader knows when to talk and when to listen.

You can't see all this mess that is happening and not see how you contributed to it.

We didn't have this many school shootings under Obama nor Bush (both) nor Hilary in her first two terms nor Reagan.

You can't be bitter about the NFL not wanting you when you are in the White House.

Empowerment of racists lead by you with your hate campaign on the way to the White House. And now in office taking that hate and screwing over your voters in the long run.

This is exactly how Israeli propaganda works also.
They blame everybody outside of themselves.

Hell, we do the same thing. It's a shame that the powerful get more "respect" than the people being harmed.

    F, the Crown Prince.

Even embattled women’s rights activists had cautiously welcomed the new direction the country seemed to be headed in, but those hopes have been dealt a blow according to Manal Sharif, a high profile Saudi activist who lives in Australia. “My optimism has been dashed by the state-led public smearing campaign against the arrested activists” she wrote in the Washington Post. “Until these arrests, I had planned to return to Saudi Arabia on June 24 ... I have had to explain to [my son] over the phone why his mother is not coming in June, why the first-ever road trip that we planned will not become a reality.”

This is what I like. I LOVE seeing these Do Nothing Centrists getting Primaried. If Allison Hartson wasn't going after her and even Kevin De Leone are forcing her left.

She's "evolved" because Progressives are forcing her too.
She's still for the Death Penalty, she can't just come out and be against it.

She's still not for Medicare for all and the support for wars.

Why centrist Dianne Feinstein is moving so much to the left that she now opposes the death penaltyl

    Well, there's a reason she's for that.
