Sure. I just didn't see any mention of her being an "Our Revolution" candidate.

Wow! Big Trump Hater Congressman Joe Crowley, who many expected was going to take Nancy Pelosi’s place, just LOST his primary election. In other words, he’s out! That is a big one that nobody saw happening. Perhaps he should have been nicer, and more respectful, to his President!
Also, the dumbass-in-chief doesn't seem to realize that Ocasio-Cortez hates him even more than Crowley did.

Thought that went without saying given some of the language (and our familiarity with the candidate), but okay. Fair point.

He's probably taking the "Wins" where he can get them.

    One last thing about that...

I think that it's important to note that her political ads were almost to the letter what Tazirai has suggested. Essentially, that not all Democrats are good for the people.

This was a good post. There's another Progressive who created much the same thing.

I do like this picture right here also.

It's not getting as much attention as Ocasio-Cortez's primary victory, but Ben Jealous (formerly President of the NAACP and another Our Revolution candidate) won the Democratic primary for governor of Maryland. Jealous also attracted the support of Kamala Harris and Cory Booker.

    Good luck, Mr. Jealous.

Without trying to be a jerk, is there a reason that it would be?

Someone who had establishment backing racked up a win. Not exactly a stunner. Noteworthy, just not much of a shock.

No, it makes sense that Jealous' primary victory isn't getting as much attention as Ocasio-Cortez's. The Democratic nomination for governor of Maryland was an open race.

But it's still worth noting. I think you can agree with me on that.

    Sure.

I just think that he would have needed to manage a loss with that sort of backing from across the party for it to have really wound up in the spotlight.

Congrats to Ms. Ocasio-Cortez. Good luck in the general election.

Tazirai, this is what you were talking about, yes?
Yes, 40% Win rate for the Democratic Socialist, Our Revolution, Brand New Congress, and Justice Democrats is outstanding considering how old the groups are, less than 2 years.

Superman and X-Men 'fans' seem overrepresented among them. I don't understand how that works. Are they rooting for the Mutant-hating bigots when they read X-Men stories?
