Even if the Progressive doesn't win, the Progressive positions are. I love that the Democratic party is being forced to go left. I'm sick of the old guard not willing to adjust to the way things are NOW, not how they used to be. Ocasio-Cortez is unabashed in abolishing ICE, and so many other Democrats are jumping on it also. Bernie needs to sign on. I get why he doesn't because he feels some weird loyalty to people who despise him, but hey, be like the others Mr. Sanders.
Also that reporter is very brave. It's hard in the Trump era, so she gets props for being a standup stalwart.
Democratic socialism -- whether that's what it's called or not -- will win for the Democrats.
Open borders will lose for them.
They're giving every indication that they'll do the stupid thing, by rejecting Democratic socialism and embracing open borders.
The Democrats are no longer about economic justice, but solely about promoting marginalized groups. This is what went wrong with the party. The white working class were giving them their middle finger when they voted for Trump.

Ah, no. That's what got the Republicans into trouble with the Tea Party which didn't make the Republican Party stronger, it only made it weaker and less decisive. There is enough room in the Democratic Party for everyone, as long as everyone is willing to work together. Attempts at political hostile takeovers only lead to animosity, division, confusion, and ultimately inaction.

I appreciate you being objective about this -- if there's going to be a debate about something as important as abortion then it should be based on the merits of the arguments involved, not on allegations about Sanger.
Personally, I believe in a woman's right to choose (i.e. I'm good with the status quo) and that has nothing to do with Sanger one way or the other.
I didn't say anything about lying, In response to the assertion that Superman didn't sympathize with racism, I stated that for some extremists he represented white racism.
And that's what the essay says. Superman the character may not be racist according to that author, but if he represents white privilege, then he still represents a form of racism. And this is an argument rooted in an extremism that's concerned not with acts of racism per se but with anything that even SEEMS to marginalize people of color.According to some extremists, Superman is inherently racist because of his appearance of being a Straight White Male. That's because all SWMs in real life are also inherently racist; they just can't be otherwise.
If I go through your own postings, will I find you this literal about everything? Maybe not. Post 102208:
Where have conservatives LITERALLY encouraged to be more annoying? And no fair using Trump: he was the same when he was a liberal. Why is the burden on liberals to be less annoying while conservatives are being encouraged to be more so?
I don't think Nazism and Communism are the same-- I disagree with Punished Fire's analysis, though it provoked a few ideas-- but I think some people are rather uncritical about Communism's similarities to Nazism.
If you don't believe my answers, why did you bother to ask?
