Ah, no. That's what got the Republicans into trouble with the Tea Party which didn't make the Republican Party stronger, it only made it weaker and less decisive. There is enough room in the Democratic Party for everyone, as long as everyone is willing to work together. Although Sanger's alleged attitudes are a significant part of our history-- though there are defenders who dispute these allegations-- the Right generally brings them up as a false equivalence to the supposed motivations of modern abortion advocates.

I appreciate you being objective about this -- if there's going to be a debate about something as important as abortion then it should be based on the merits of the arguments involved, not on allegations about Sanger.

Personally, I believe in a woman's right to choose (i.e. I'm good with the status quo) and that has nothing to do with Sanger one way or the other.

Not even a lot of opinion: It just describes what the late, great Dwayne McDuffie did in that crossover: Show that an alien growing up on Earth in black skin has it harder than one in white skin. And the author points out that today, one would label that as white privilege.

No lie in there. No extremism. Just solid comicbook journalism.

I didn't say anything about lying, In response to the assertion that Superman didn't sympathize with racism, I stated that for some extremists he represented white racism.

According to some extremists, Superman is inherently racist because of his appearance of being a Straight White Male. That's because all SWMs in real life are also inherently racist; they just can't be otherwise.

And that's what the essay says. Superman the character may not be racist according to that author, but if he represents white privilege, then he still represents a form of racism. And this is an argument rooted in an extremism that's concerned not with acts of racism per se but with anything that even SEEMS to marginalize people of color.

BTW, the bunk in your articles are clear because they try to refute claims based on Sangers actual quotes by simply saying "But she didn't want to do so-and-so" and she "didn't believe this and that" without providing ANY supporting quotations to bolster that claim.

Also, regarding the KKK meeting, Snopes conveniently leaves out that Sanger stated that she wanted to talk to similar groups and that that meeting created such in-roads. The politifact article on her Negro Project also conveniently omits the fact that Sanger was an avowed atheist and found believers in religion to be less intelligent. She stated blacks were most easily influenced "by religion". Hmm. Religious people are less intelligent...and blacks are most easily influenced by religion. Especially those "Rebellious" blacks. Nah! Definitely no OBVIOUS racist connotations there..
