A few years back, I was walking by the side of the road, obviously minding my own business, and some black guy in a car thought it would be funny to pretend like he was going to hit me.

Resentment on all sides is always predicated on the potential for real harm, not just hurt feelings.

Well, you get the last laugh because:
When you go to the store the staff probably don't follow you around thinking your going to steal.
You're more likely to get a bank loan.
You're more likely to rent whatever apartment you want.
You're more likely to get a job your qualified for.
You're more likely to get a spot at an ivy league college.
You're less likely to get stopped and frisked by the police.
You're less likely to get shot by the police.
You're less likely to have the police called on you randomly for any number of stupid reasons.

So congrats, you win.

Why do so many people in the US not know that Puerto Rico is in the US? And as for the Bronx being the 8th richest county in the US, I'm thinking the presence of Yankee Stadium skews that just a bit. Oh, I'm sure the sports bars and restaurants around Yankee Stadium benefit from the Yankees, especially right before and right after ballgames, but if you go more than, say, five blocks from the Stadium, especially when the baseball season is over, it's not exactly the 8th richest county any more.

- The Wall , will be a success as one tells me. Because more countries are building walls and they have a success rate. I mean look at rich people who build high walls to stop burglaries , prisons etc. So hey the Wall is gonna work and be a success.

Considering it's prefaced with "If socialism is so great" I can't think of any other way to read it. The only way I can think of to work socialism into that thought is if he thinks Puerto Rico is a socialist system, thus implying that she left a socialist area behind to more to a more economically success non-socialist area in the US. Which isn't so, since Puerto Rico is part of the US and runs like any other US territory.

I dunno, it's hard to get a good grasp on to a thought process from a tweet, but whatever he was getting at he was pretty clearly mistaken.

Officers in Louisiana tell a man to get off tractor, saying he has a warrant. After the man refuses & asks to see the warrant (which the officers don’t produce) one of them steps into his tractor, puts him in a chokehold & kills him.
