I just find "I like Mike" to be a microcosm of Trump's ignorance that it's hilarious.

I like to think it was meant to mention Mike Pence.

Do you think that somewhere in his Alzheimer's riddled brain, there's some memory of Gatorade's "Be Like Mike" campaign, but he's so much the dotard that he mixed it up with Eisenhower's "I Like Ike" campaign from his childhood?

Here's my summary:

You're - once again - willing to give a Republican (a Republican fraudster in this case) the benefit of the doubt in a way you never, ever would have done for Hillary Clinton.

Why would he say "flee" if he didn't think he was talking about a socialist dictatorship? Why not just "move away from"?

The guy uttered a complete and total brainfart, revealing how little he knows about the world. We can all smell it, you're just pretending it's Old Spice. Because of cause you are.

If someone said "People fled Oklahoma in the 1930s", no one would say "Why didn't they say "Move away from"?

There is a reason for that. We recently went over the issues in Puerto Rico. It's not like it is a place that is laid out to be a paradise for regular working folks.

Somewhere does not need to be a place that represents a pressing threat to your life to be a place you would flee.

I mean I get the Obama did it gotta roll it back mentality. But for a regular Trump voter why in the world would you want less gas mileage? No one is saying you have to buy a Tesla or anything. Ignore all the pollution aspects which gets tricky with climate change deniers etc.

Focus strictly on being a benefit to anyone's pocketbook by having more efficient cars out there. How is this a bad thing? I mean they will go to rallies and cheer this BS but why? How is this good for any of them personally?

If by some miracle the steak eating insomniac makes it to his 90s, I wonder if every other line he'll say would be complete confusion regarding the original point.



So, I've largely been avoiding watching television besides anything syndicated (you know, like MeTV) for a few months now, and I have to say, I'm not feeling as depressed about myself as I was a year ago. While I like to keep myself informed, I'd rather read news websites than watch talking heads cluck nonsense and try to make me scared about my own shadow.

Also, Trump Cultists largely consider Antonio F. Branco their go-to political cartoonist, with his lame-ass **** because most cartoonists rightfully make fun of Trump and not fellate him, but this is a new low, even for him. Essentially, he's naturally siding with Trump on the LeBron issue by having Trump point to Colin Caepernick, who's greedily holding up a bag of money like a stereotypical Jew in Nazi propaganda.

BTW, I'm disappointed that for all the stuff we slag off on InfoWars and Drudge Report, Andrew West's Constituion.Com floats under the radar with even more BS.

Interesting how the either Deutsche Bank or the Bank of Cypress turns up when you hear about financial shenanigans of those in Trump's orbit or the Trump family. They must all have been persona non grata by the U.S. financial institutions that would loan large amounts.

ISTR one of Trump's kids flat-out admitting this. Saying they do not need domestic financing for some comparatively recent real estate scheme because they get the needed money from overseas.

I was watching the live feed of the protest from work, and of COURSE the police justify it because antifascist protesters were observed throwing projectiles at a different location, so time to cull the herd!
