In the last, he might have some outside chance to do something - I mean, the claymore solution could work out, but that's seriously it. If he's got one-sided prep, he can probably take it with that strategy more consistently.

But at the end of the day, this is a fight between fast strong durable superhumans and a guy who is faster, stronger, more durable and much more skilled than any real world human, but who is still not even close to his foes.
did you notice that I meant to say "absolutely no prep" for the metahuman characters? And that the metahuman has to be pretty low enough for Bourne to actually destroy/hurt him?

and is it still possible for the vamps to defeat even a prepped Bourne, even if the latter has a shot at doing something? this is just a general versus question i'm asking.

    It won't matter.

Considering they'll be beyond his ability to track in any way, it's certainly possible.

The question you posted was difficult to lock down - it was missing some context and wasn't clearly written. I saw EXACTLY what you wrote, and tried to give you a coherent reply. A skilled normal needs advantageous situations to win against metas who are much stronger/faster/tougher than they are. You really shouldn't need to ask that question, to be fair.

    Alright, advantageous situations. Got it.

Perhaps he could plant sonic emitters in the area with prep which mayyyy disorient the vampire by causing him pain and make him a stationary target but given Edward's speed that is also likely not to work at all.

I am convinced this guy is a troll. He revived a 6-year-old thread just for a stupid comment?

If only Jason Bourne had necromancy like this, he might stand a chance.

Not exactly. Yes, they're flammable, but they don't exactly burn quickly enough for it to matter here. It's part of why they need to be completely dismembered before being set on fire, so they have to reconstruct themselves instead of simply being able to put the fire out.

It's not like setting them on fire causes them to die or something. There's also the gaping plot hole of Carlisle supposedly being utterly incapable of killing himself if fire is an easy way of killing a vampire, but I digress.
