Honorable mention to Bishop! I was THIS close to adding him... since I actually liked him as a wee lad in the 90's, but, I've started reading classic Excalibur, so Nightcrawler edges him out this time around, sadly. I also think I rather like the IDEA of Warlock, but the execution has never been super-great - he adds a tremendously fascinating bit of mythos to the X-men tho', with the Technarchy and the Phalanx.

I think I just realized that I actually really miss him as a hero...

Longshot is certainly another character that I've always loved since a wee lad, but he's never IMHO been used to his full potential, outside of that initial mini-series and his first run in the pages of Uncanny.
