Actually, I'm concerned about adding the expense of the several different titles in the Mignilaverse to my budget. I'm already starting with Lobster Johnson: Get the Lobster, and the only Hellboy issues I own are Seed of Destruction #1 - #4 from back in 1994.

(By the way, are the omnibuses in color or are they in b&w? Because all that material in one book for the same price as the smaller tpb makes it sound like they would have to cut out something.)

The hardcover omnibuses are in color and I doubt they'll change that with the soft covers. Dark Horse puts cheap collections anyway.
