Probably not at this late date, but there is always Hope!

Animated films? I doubt it. I think the best to hope for would be a cartoon trying to adapt the stories as an Avengers story or something like that.

BTW, after listening to Titan Up the Defense, it's hard not to think "and then Barbara starting screaming a long string of capital As."

There was spoof of the 70's Defenders that showed up on the Justice League cartoon. Grundy, Aquaman, and Dr Fate were the stand ins for Hulk, Namor, and Dr Strange.

It was, thanks for posting it. Those were some good issues. We got to see some Valkyrie strength feats and it lead to introducing Dr Tanya Belinski, AKA the (new) Red Guardian.

I would love to see a Omnibus edition of the Defenders covering the first 30 or so issues of the series.

While the first 21 issues are my favorite, I still really enjoyed the series to about issue 70-75. So make that Omnibus cover these issues too!

An interesting review of Gerber's Headmen saga

Though I'm usually not a fan of wierd and absurd approaches, this is still one of my favorite runs in comics. Kudos must also go to Sal Buscema, at the top of his game (though not my favorite period of his art. I prefered his early more Big John Buscema influenced art), who illustrated almost the whole run. Too bad Marvel seems to have long ago lost it's ability to do stuff like this.
