with the new 'Defenders' series will there be guests from the classic team era?

I have seem pictures that show the line-up a bit extended, but I doubt we'll see guys like the Surfer, The Hulk, Namor, Gargoyle, etc... anytime soon.

By the way.I'm currently reading (or rereading, since I have the original issues) the Six Fingered Hand Epic Collection. What a great read.

Of course Luke had a decent run with the Defenders himself.

Hellcat could find her way there if they take Patsy Walker that way. I could see Nighthawk as well either the old version or the new.

None of the big guns would ever appear I expect.

The defenders have often been the most powerful team. The big four of Hulk, Namor, Strange, and Surfer are hard to beat for raw power. The nature of the team pretty much makes whoever fought with them a Defender so that includes most of the 70's- 90's characters.
