I seriously doubt the Defenders see themselves as a sub-team of anyone. Dr. Strange can barely get the team to work together as it is.

Really want to see the MCU Namor show up in the MCU interacting with the Rufalo and Cumberbatch Bruce Banner and Stephen Strange!

Also, I remember buying this one off the stands! Good times!

I love the original Defenders!

There was just something...magical and special about the stories, the new characters that were masterfully introduced and the artwork.

Some of my favorite obscure characters are from this Defenders run.

Yes indeed. Not those black and white reprints, but all the color of those wonderful issues.

I remember that issue #42. Val's costume had mysteriously reverted to her original (due to the magic spell of Doc Strange).

And this was when Cage as Power Man was no stronger than Valkyrie (the Barbara Norris's version), so he couldn't stop Hulk either. Only calm, kind words from the members could do that. Ah, the good old days..

Oh, I sooooooooo wish Marvel would launch a complete series TPB collecting the whole Busiek and Larsen Defenders,and the Order mini-series. That was a great read.

I am trying to decide if I want to collect the individual issues to read, or wait for the MM vol. 6 to come out.
I want it for Hellcat, and I figure her first main appearances with the team will be in that volume. Hopefully.
