I think Xavin would be "non-gender binary"

Courier should probably make it onto the side character list as well as getting pictured.

The whole Skrull (and shapeshifters in general) makes this one difficult to define.

2 Latina Actresses Will Play Teens Who Rebel Against Their Supervillain Parents in Hulu’s ‘Runaways’
We may have to wait just a little bit longer until a Mexican-American cyborg takes over our TVs, but Marvel has already started casting for its new Hulu series, Runaways. On Thursday, Marvel revealed that two Latinas – Ariela Barer as Gert Yorkes and Allegra Acosta as Molly Hernandez – form part of the main cast. Victor Mancha, a cyborg who is the son of Ultron, plays a key role in the comic book. There’s no word on whether Marvel’s cutting the character from the show, though the studio promised to release additional casting information later on.

Default "Marvel Has A Huge Minority Problem"

    Preach.

    ----------

"In the sense that superheroes personify otherness as a source of (literal) power, they are arguably the most poignant minority protagonist. What a shame, then, that almost all of them comprise a demographic group that absolutely never has to suffer from the limitations of otherness...."

"Andrew Garfield Wants to Pass ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ Torch to Miles Morales"

"Garfield was recently asked by Comic Book Resources if Miles Morales – the current iteration of Ultimate Spider-Man in the comics – could be introduced to the Amazing Spider-Man universe. Here’s what Garfield had to say:

I have given that thought. I think one of the amazing things about Spider-Man is that you don’t see skin color when he’s in the suit. You don’t see any religious beliefs. You don’t see any denominations. Everyone can project themselves into that suit. It’s incredibly powerful in that way. So of course I think it’s important that the openness, the casting, in terms of who could be Spider-Man, could be absolutely anyone. A hero is a hero, whether you’re a man, woman, gay, lesbian, straight, black, white or red all over – it doesn’t matter.

Miles Morales was a huge moment in this character’s comic book life. And I do believe that we can do that. It’s something I’m really interested in figuring out; an eloquent way of coexisting, or passing on the torch. I don’t have an answer, but I think it’s actually a really important move. I think it’s a really beautiful and important move."

It's cool we got Shang Chi but I wish we had an Asian American male superhero with a less....stereotypical skillset. I thought Chew's ability over at Image was pretty dope but I wouldn't classify him as a superhero.

I'm with you there..an Asian character who's skillset isnt martial arts or computer programming. I dont know how Asians feels about the Collective Man but I always thought he had a unique power. That could have been reworked into something less offensive. Also I love Sabra...and she would make an interesting X-man. With views opposite Scott Summers.

Jimmy Woo. Marvel should be pushing him in the comics and on Agents of SHIELD.
