The Falcon and The Winter Soldier May Have Already Cast Sam Wilson's Replacement
Disney+'s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier may have quietly cast Sam Wilson's eventual replacement in the MCU.
https://www.cbr.com/falcon-winter-so...n-replacement/As is par the course for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there's a lot of secrecy surrounding Disney+'s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The show's cast is full of supporting actors playing undisclosed roles, which includes more recent additions like Danny Ramirez. With outlets describing his role as "pivotal," it seems there's a real possibility Ramirez is playing Joaquín Torres, the character who takes up the Falcon mantle after Sam Wilson becomes Captain America.
Introduced in Captain America: Sam Wilson in October 2015, Joaquín is a Mexican immigrant who came to the U.S. when he was just a kid. When he's older, he's captured by the Sons of the Serpent and transformed into a human/falcon hybrid, which grants him a psychic link to Sam's falcon companion, Redwing. After Sam, now serving as Captain America, rescues him, they team up to battle and defeat the Serpent Society. Wanting to continue doing good, Joaquín stays on as Sam's sidekick and becomes the new Falcon.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Writer Hints at Surprise Character Appearance
https://comicbook.com/marvel/news/fa...-falcon-cameo/Speaking with CBM, Spellman namedrops a character named Joaquin, one played by The Gifted's Danny Ramirez. While Spellman doesn't say the character's full name, it could very well easily point towards Joaquin Torres, the character who's currently using the Falcon mantle in the Marvel comics mythos.
Joaquin Torres is fairly new, right?

Hawkeye Spin-off Echo Reportedly in Development at Marvel Studios
https://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/...y-plus-series/Marvel Studios is developing a Hawkeye spin-off series for Disney+ starring Marvel Cinematic Universe newcomer Echo (Alaqua Cox), according to a new report. The planned Echo series, about the deaf Native American superhero Maya Lopez, makes the Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld-starring Hawkeye the first original series from Marvel Studios to get its own spin-off series. Emily and Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder, Men in Black 3) are attached to write and executive produce Echo, with Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios producing the show that is now assembling a writers' room, according to Variety, who broke the news.
Hawkeye is Cox's first on-screen role. She appears as part of a cast that includes returning Avengers franchise star Renner, MCU newcomer Steinfeld (Bumblebee), who plays Kate Bishop, the protégé of Clint Barton’s archer Avenger, Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel) as Eleanor Bishop, Tony Dalton (Better Call Saul) as Jack Duquesne, and Zahn McClarnon (Westworld) as William Lopez, Maya's father.
No confirmation of Eli coming? If we don't get Eli for Young Avengers, its gonna be a whole ass problem!
