Nah, I think Spider-man and Batman are the most comparable at the two companies. Both have tragic backstories, both are street-level, both have money issues (Bruce has too much, Peter has too little), both maintain a secret identity, both rely on gadgets, the list goes on.

Superman is more like Captain America. Both are essentially displaced aliens, both are lawful good, both are expected to symbolize truth, justice and the American way.

Completely disagree in terms of similarities as characters and back stories I would argue that Batman has most in common with Daredevil or visa versa.

Though Spiderman and Batman do seen to be the main show for each company and the 2 most recognisable and popular characters Worldwide. Even non-comic book readers know who both are.
Hell today I saw kids in both Batman and Spiderman jumpers just walking in town and I'm not even in the US. That's how popular they are.
