    Completely disagree in terms of similarities as characters and back stories I would argue that Batman has most in common with Daredevil or visa versa.

    Though Spiderman and Batman do seen to be the main show for each company and the 2 most recognisable and popular characters Worldwide. Even non-comic book readers know who both are.
    Hell today I saw kids in both Batman and Spiderman jumpers just walking in town and I'm not even in the US. That's how popular they are.
