Jumanji remake on the cards...

I saw the kids' film and it was... well, it was forgettable. Fast forward 20 years - or however long it's been - and some people will say that this news only proves right that Hollywood is completely devoid of new ideas and just remakes everything. I'm not saying that's true, but with so many screenplays out there, why recycle films that didn't produce much more than a "meh..." the first time around?

Or perhaps some of you have good memories of this and are excited about a remake?

I remember this movie when I was a kid. I thought it was fun. It had great effects and a nice story. And if someone wants to do a remake, I'll give it a chance. Hollywood has remade everything else. Why not Jumanji?
