I felt sad for Kara that her sister and the DEO commander was on her case for revealing she's Superman's cousin to that annoying Cat Grant

Wouldn't Reactron blasting SG leave her all radioactive?
I still find Supergirl and Jimmy crushing on each other weird.
And i said it last episode but im going to have to say it again this time.... i hope they stop with all the Supes mentions.
This show is called Supergirl, it's not called Superman's Cousin.
Given that the premise of the show is Supergirl discovering her own identity and getting out from Superman's shadow, it would be really out of place for no one to mention Superman several times an episode, particularly at the start like this, since he's the only other person inexistence to compare her to and she does sort of, you know, wear the S.
I'd completely forgotten that Jimmy and Lucy used to be a thing.
All this carping over how many times Superman gets mentioned is hilarious because we all know that if they didn't mention him at all, people would be complaining about that.
But I do wonder if we'll ever see any other superheroes (aside from Superman) on the show. Kara's talk about "Earth no longer having just one hero" could be interpreted as referring to heroes who work on a global scale, which is Superman's thing. It could be that there are other, lower key capes who stick closer to home. Presumably, if any did appear, they would have to be ones who haven't appeared (or aren't slated to appear) on Flash, Arrow, and Legends--which would eliminate a lot of old-school Justice League-related characters--but that could still leave some interesting possibilities.
It would be a real nice twist if Henshaw was MM but I rate the chance of that at 1% maybe less.
It was right at the end of the episode; there was nothing going on that logically would have triggered it. It just happened, followed by some dramatic music. And there's no reason why entering that room would have set off an alarm, if Alex was authorized to access it.
But it wouldn't really be all that nice a twist, since they'd basically be ripping off something that was already done on Smallville.
They could go with the obvious idea and make him Cyborg-Superman. You know, like he is in the comics. The fact that so many people keep jumping to "he's MM" just because he's got glowy red eyes, as if no other DC character could have those, still baffles me?

Great job James, blabbing Clark's secret ID like that. It's one thing if Clark himself wants to do it, or if he gives you/Kara the ok to do it for him. But this, bad James bad. Just for that, I'm calling you "Jimmy" for the rest of the week.
I assume his cyborg systems are connected to the DEO mainframe or something, so when Alex was accessing files for stopping Reactron he was able to realize it.
Awesome that Jimmy still has his signal watch, and it looks pretty cool. Should totally make something out of that like the Reverse-Flash ring .
I liked Clark using a smilie emoticon .
I think Win is wayyyyy overqualified to work at Catco if he can secretly set up a high tech secret base in an abandoned office building and do such advanced computer work. Then again, given Cat Grant's standards of excellence, maybe he's the only tech guy up for working for her.
So Supergirl fought, defeated, and locked up her first Supervillain, and one who Superman could never beat to boot (I guess Superman never had the time to figure out the lead thing? Or even figure out Reactron's identity, which for an investigative reporter is surprising). Which makes Reactron the first surviving rogue of the show, not counting Astra. If Kara keeps this up, she'll have a better track record then Flash has for season 2.
