Meet the Villains

Inferno

Inferno is but one of the many villains who operate out of Chicago. Like many villains, he drafts henchmen from a seemingly endless supply to assist him in his villainy. He uses a jet pack to move around the city faster.

Powers: Inferno can create fireballs which he throws at his enemies.

Will there be a top female and sidekick?

Is Frostbite supposed to be older than the others? It looks like he has white/grey sideburns ala Reed Richards.

Will all of the celebrity heroes be shown as jerks? Because that might get a bit tiring.

Will you delve into villains having sidekicks? That might be something worth exploring.

While there are no main female Sidekicks in the story, one of the Heroes is.

Yes. Walter is the oldest.

Will all of the celebrity heroes be shown as jerks? Because that might get a bit tiring.

Not necessarily jerks. But they all have a way in which they disrespect their Sidekicks.

Will you delve into villains having sidekicks? That might be something worth exploring.

Yes. Issue #2 introduces the main Villains for the series: The Board. They each have their own Sidekicks.

We are running a very limited Kickstarter Campaign for Cameo Appearances ONLY.

Because of our deal with the Publisher, work on Sidekicks - Issue #2 needs to start soon. We know how much people like the Cameo Appearance Rewards and we wanted to make sure we provided an opportunity for people to get their likeness in the comic.

A quick progress report:

Miguel has completed the pencil work on issue #1. As mentioned, he is on schedule to have the pages inked for next Monday. This should have the book complete for the end of the month.

And once completed, the PDF version will be available immediately to those of you who Backed the Kickstarter.

There are still slots available for Cameo Appearances in Issues #2-4, but TIME IS RUNNING OUT. Bong Dazo has finished the layouts for issue #2 and has begun penciling the book. There are only 6 days left to secure your spot in the book.

Another progress report.

The Inks are Done!

Miguel has finished inking all of the pages for Issue #1. They will be sent over to Sara for colors soon, and we will be that much closer to having a completed book.

As it stands, we have 23 penciled and inked pages, and 10 colored and lettered pages.

Not much else to report this week, so I'll leave you with another sneak peek of one of our villains from Issue #2.

A Progress Report and Thank You

Hey, everyone!

We're getting close!

Sara has been sending me one page per day. There are only 7 pages left to be colored and then they're off to HdE for lettering.

The end is near!

In Issue #2 news, Bong has finished the pencils for the entire issue and they have been sent to our new Inker. I'm saving his introduction for a future Update, but he has quite the impressive resume and we are very happy to have him on board.

Finally, please take a look at our "Thank You" page from Issue #1. A named Thank You in the book was one of the Reward options and I'm thrilled to share this page with ALL of our followers.

Sara has finished coloring all of the pages for Issue #1. I've sent them off to HdE for lettering and then the book will be finished.

It's been a long time getting to this point and I thank you all for your continued patience. We hope to have the comic finished before year's end.
