Default Wong Fei-Hung (movies) vs. Kenshin Himura

As a huge martial arts fan, I need to ramble a bit before setting up the match. I recently convinced myself to sit through the Rurouni Kenshin movies (for better or worse), and despite being a huge fan of the anime and manga, realized only afterwards that there were a lot of similarities between the story of Rurouni Kenshin and the Once Upon a Time in China series starring Jet Li as Wong Fei-Hung. Both deal extensively with the westernization/modernization of their respective countries, the relative futility of martial arts in the face of advancing technology, and accurately, albeit romantically, depict periods of transition between eras. They also both take place in the mid-late 1800s, so as far as fictional battles go there's some feasibility to it. In any case:

How would a fight between Wong Fei-Hung, as depicted in the Once Upon a Time in China films, fair against Kenshin Himura? Would the outcome be different if it were the anime/manga version as opposed to the live action version?

Morals on for both characters. Let's say they meet in the midst of an old, abandoned battlefield. Kenshin has his reverse blade sword, Fei-Hung has an aluminum taiji staff.

There's a Manga version of Once Upon A Time In China? What feats does he have?

I was referring the Kenshin - whether the live action or anime/manga version would matter. And hard to say regarding speed. In the first film, there's a scene where Wong Fei-Hung is fighting Master Yen in the rain, and they are exchanging blows in between sending a wooden beam flying back and forth. Hard for me to describe in words, but it's essentially a slow mo shot of the background with them fighting in real-time speed, with the obvious implication that they are actually fighting proportionately faster. He's also dodged shots from crude firearms of the time, although not quite the way Kenshin was able to. Regardless, speed is but one factor at play.

Sounds like Live Action Kenshin would be more fair. Anime/Manga Kenshin is pretty insane.

I believe you're right. Trying to quantify speed in anime is neigh impossible. Good selection of Kenshin's fights in the movies though. I'd compare them to the following:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-fkE4NQ1PE
https://youtu.be/RwvP02bg7II?t=4117 (unfortunately, no good quality version of this fight on YT)

Anyway, if I were to break it down by films, I would say Kenshin is a bit faster while Fei-Hung is more agile. Skill and striking power are difficult to distinguish between the two, however.
