Original Cast vs First Class cast with new versions of Storm/Cyclops/Jean etc

I see this discussion going on over the internet often so I figured I get what the opinions are in this forum.

Should Fox let DOFP be the swan song for the original cast and move forward with FC cast with recasting of Storm/Cyclops/Jeans and other characters or continue with Original cast?

I think that is time to move on with just the FC cast and new version of the other characters. I don't think they can do both since they are in different timelines and I personally don't want to see the OT cast especially Berry as Storm ever again.

I think the First Class cast moving forward is the plan.

Yeah I think DOFP was the original casts swan song and the first class cast are moving forward. I'm sure only Logan will likely return from the original cast and hopefully we will see Storm, Jean, and Cyclops recast so we can continue to see them on the big screen.

I love Marsden and his Cyke but the ending of DOFP gave him a really nice send off

I'm pretty sure it's been more or less officially stated that DoFP is NOT the end of the original cast. We don't know for sure what the plans are going forward, but it's been stated that some of the original cast will be appearing (in an unknown capacity) in Apocalypse, and it's been said several times that Apocalypse is supposed to be the end of the "First Class Trilogy."

I actually do not know what to vote here. Mcavoy was excellent but i continue to believe that Patrick Stewart was the definitive Professor X.
