I never see as much love for Paul Jenkins's spectacular run. It has some truly great issues in it. #20 and #21 is a one two punch that are great for the opposite reasons.
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa also did some great work on sensational after Millar. It's a shame most of his run was buried in the Civil War event. But he gave us that fun Eddie Brock two-parter which is considered to be one of the better parts of Back in Black (although I will admit that some his stuff is pretty forgettable).
Charles Vess, while only made one contribution to Spider-man, did a fun story set in Scotland. It's not the best comic, but I recommend reading it.
