    Default Doctor Strange, #2

    • Take a tour of Doctor Strange's home-- the Sancto Sanctorum. It's the weirdest and most dangerous place in the Marvel Universe! A place where opening the wrong door can unleash hell on Earth.
    • Unfortunately for you and your fellow visitor, Zelma, Strange's house is infested with something far worse than bed bugs!

So far my favorite of the NuMarvel roster. That first issue was incredible and this seems to be just as good. Doctor Strange is getting the respect he deserves.

I am sure it will be a great story, but that artwork stinks!

Do not talk to the snakes.
    I love it.

I'm just hoping it isn't weirdness for weirdness' sake.
And the artwork doesn't suck, but I can't honestly say Bachalo is throwing his A-game.

I've been reading/collecting/archiving/reviewing/ingesting/digesting/dissecting/analyzing DOCTOR STRANGE for MANY years (and also in blog-form), and have suffered through many tedious and "wrong-minded" interpretations over the decades.

I just don't know that my fandom can survive another at this late stage.

    PLEASE be good!

I'm hoping to start picking up Dr. Strange once Bachalo inevitably leaves after six or eight issues.

This looks very promising. I refuse to read any of the ANAD-books until SW is finished tho' - to me, there is only Battleworld... there is only... THE HICKMAN!

Hey! = ) Welcome back from the Dark Dimension, man! I've followed your blog for a couple of years, so I'm looking forward to reading your impressions about this new series.

And there's a movie coming! : D Featuring one of the most popular and talented actors currently working in the business, and Dr. Strange has been an important character in Secret Wars. (or is, even tho' he died, his presence is still making waves in the book)

I actually feel this might be one of the best times to be a Strange-fan in many years - it's looking up! =D

(btw, will you be doing a review of Time Runs Out/Secret Wars IV? IMHO, Hickman actually has a pretty good grasp of the good Dr, as well as the... less good Dr. I would definitely like a Dr. Strange retrospective, with the connections to the Beyonder! The Doc Strange SWII tie-in was IMHO actually one of the best of that crossover.)

The snakes remind me of the "worms" from MEN IN BLACK, and I'm not sure I like the deprecating way Stephen is portrayed. He seems less Sorcerer Supreme, more comic relief.

ETA: Oh, and great to see you around, PTOR,

So, judging by the cover, is Dr Strange going to fight Beetlejuice?

I hope Stephen's characterization improves from the last issue.

So why didn't the crimson bands of Cyttorak Work? Has something happened to Cyttorak himself or is he just pissed off with Strange for not feeding him bunnies?

I'm loving everything about this comic except for him not having his white streaks. I can't wait to read this, loved issue 1.
