Default Mr. Terrific is the smartest man in the DC universe

i know his motto is "third smartest man" but i heard a rumour that he is just being modest and he is really number 1

    what is your opinion

the guy can travel 9th dimension

I don't think he's proven it since the reboot. Since he crossed over to Earth-2, he'd been played by Terry Sloane and used as a pawn by Darkseid's boy Bedlam. Luthor would more clearly have a claim to the top spot.

Depending on how you judge "smartest," of course, seeing as how many many decisions Luthor makes are pretty dumb.

For me, it's like calling Batman the "word's greatest detective" or calling Flash the "fastest man." It doesn't have to be entirely true, it just has to summarize with hyperbole.

Define smarts--lots of different types of smarts out there...I'll assume it's book/IQ type smarts.

But even then, doesn't mean he can't ever be outsmarted, no one wins forever on Jeopardy, no matter how smart you are.

Batman may also have better Detective Skills. Luthor has a special type of cunning few can match...

If he was so smart ,he'd figure a way to have his own book

So far, Terrific has the best scientific feats in the DCnU. Not even Luthor has shown what Holt has done.

As long as they keep writing him like they do in Future's End I'll be happy. He's more interesting than he's ever been. Unfortunately, I think it's really Terry Sloane who took over his body/persona. Because yeah, they made Earth-2 Sloane smarter than anyone on that Earth at least, including Batman
