So many unanswered questions!!!!
Why are the utopians standing with Scott at his speech?
Will that Jean/Hank kiss ever be mentioned again, seeing as they're on different books?
Is that the last we'll ever see of Eva?
What was the point of that reprint at the back?

Seems such a weird story to reprint though. Surely a story about Cyclops or beast or maybe even a reprint of X-Men #1 would have been far more appropriate. The Iceman story has nothing to due with his plot in the main book and the part about wanting to go solo after being overshadowed for years rings hollow when: a) that story was published like 30 years ago and he still hasn't gone solo and b) he's already been confirmed as being in two team books.

I expected to hate this issue, I didn't. It was...ok, a bit "meh".

Some thoughts:

-Bendis run LITERALLY lead up to nothing. (Cyclops' speech)

-Was Dazzler ever around when Dark Beast attacked? And was that really 3 weeks ago?

-I guess Scott's speech could lead to Nation X, although I am not sure how Beast ends up there.

-I think this Bobby storyline was done better than the young Bobby one.

-Not sure if Bendis intended it this way, but there were some similarities between what Beast was being accused of, and the stuff Jean does.

-Which just reminds me what a bully Jean is. I guess consent isn't a thing here.

Dazzler was on madripoor during the D.Beast.

Clearly a lot has changed in this issue, even down to the speech for Scott. Since him and his brother were planning something.

Pretty much. Typical of Bendis's run: All build-up, no payoff.

Unless I missed it somehow, wasn't it teased at some point that we would be given a resolution as to how Cyclops had a Phoenix egg? Im pretty sure when it appeared in Avengers, we were told that at some point, Bendis would give us the answer by issue 600

Actually, if anything I think Bendis confirmed that he wasn't going to get into it.

I'm sorry. I'm lost. I don't understand. I read this last issue three times and I don't get what was the point of Cyclops revolution?

And wasn't T. Scott's goal to stop Cyclops or something? I am so confuse.

So Emma didn't do much of anything in this issue besides have a few random lines? Too bad but expected. Did Rachel ever appear?

Also love to hear that Tempus is out of limbo! Maybe it is possible that she will now be a time traveler in the regards of Bishop and Cable.

So the good...

Hank is being called out for being an utter imbecile. Plus.
"Kitty is getting married ... make your move and stop it." Was cute.
While I didn't at all enjoy the writing of Bobby's coming out scene or even how it was handled and explained, I enjoyed the fact that it was taking place in the most abstract of terms.
The art overall was quite nice.

As for everything else well.

I just.. can't fathom why this took so many months to be released. Or how and in what world this is a momentous issue.
With what rationale would even Cyclops make the choices he's made to even gather all the world's mutants in one location to give his speech. Or even how he achieved that on his own.
I feel greatly for the Hank fans.
Whatever negativity I feel for the conclusion of this particular era and series just amounts to confusion at this point. For the most part I can only explain it away as a majorly directionless X-Office trying to stitch together a story that mimics gravitas.
