Saw this fan-art and really liked it.
We are the Dora Milaje. We are the daughters of the 18 tribes of Wakanda. We are the teeth of the Panther God. Out of 10,000 years of sweat and bloodshed and battle are we born. We are the women of this ancient land. Deadliest of the species. And our time has come!
Billy specific question for y'all super fans.
If you were to narrow down Billy's most important/integral "moments" --- limiting the list to only 4 --- what key life events would you select.
You know, if someone were to make a page for Billy like the "origins of marvel comics"
Example: Jubes
Me?
I'm thinking along the lines of:
1) Civilian Billy is approached/recruited by Iron Lad
2) Asgardian/Wiccan Billy joins/meets/fights alongside YA against Kang
3) Meets/Discovers Tommy and learns of their familial ties to the Scarlet Witch
4) Works alongside the YA to save the Multiverse
And then a big ol splashy image of Billy in his latest and greatest costume

Getting tortured is one of his integral moments?
.... who hurt you Kieran?
I do think heroes are forged in fire; and are (on some level) defined by their tragedy. It's easily the worst moment of his life. Before then it was the bullies at school. It also showed the darkness in him; when he switched from a hero chanting "Iwanttosavehim" to "IwantyoutoDIE!" What made his Demiurge moments so powerful was the fact he CAN abuse power, he CAN slip into darkness; and yet with all the power in the universe he chooses not to use it because he's essentially pure at heart. But the darkness IS integral (because it makes his "lightness" all the more impressive). If that makes sense?
P.S. plus I forgot about Tommy (lol); and YES learning about his other family (and his brother) is huge too. Sadly Magneto is no longer part of that
In honour of Billy & Teddy's upcoming awesome medieval adventure in Secret Wars Journal; some lovely fan art I found today.
Our dear Cris-art has done another wonderful Billy/Teddy sketch.
"We are Shakespeare. We are Michelangelo. We are Tchaikovsky. We are Turing. We are Mercury. We are Wilde. We are Lincoln, Lorca, Leonardo da Vinci. We are Alexander the Great. We are Fredrick the Great. We are Rustin. We are Addams. We are Marsha! Marsha Marsha Marsha! We so generous, we DeGeneres. We are Ziggy Stardust hooked to the silver screen. Controversially we are Malcolm X. We are Plato. We are Aristotle. We are RuPaul, god dammit! And yes, we are Woolf."

I now cling to the hope that Ewing's words will do them justice -- so much so that they'll be assigned a new artist (rotating at least?). I weathered through Land's recreations over in Mighty Avengers, and I can weather through this as well.
I can't wait to learn the details of this title.
