I figure anything which isn't "ew homosexuals are evil sinners men don't do that to each other it's disgusting" is okay. Like, you can love a character and still hate what one creator, be they writer, artist, editorial etc. is doing with them. Anything about the characters should really be open to debate. I think Beetle is raising an interesting point.

His old hair was far superior.
And if you want to get angry over artists making errors. McKelvie didn't seem to know that Billy has black hair, not brown.

Wouldn't that be a colorist error?

    I stand corrected.
Mind you, I have a feeling it might've been deliberate to diferentiate him more from teen Loki who came later and actually had black hair.

No one in the world would dye their hair from black to brown.
In fact, I do the exact opposite myself.

Billy's old hair will always be his best hair.

Yeah I think that's most likely it, a lot of artists have "same face" problems and McKelvie isn't an exception so hair color comes into play. The red hood was a nice addition to Billy'd look, the rest is alright. His civilian clothes were just tacky though. That white and black shirt...

Some fan art of Billy's amazing hair:

Nevertheless, Valkyrie isn't wearing her most iconic costume, but the redesign from Fearless Defenders that she wore just before it got canceled. Fearless Defenders was a title with less relevance and sales than Young Avengers.

I dyed my hair from black to brown. It was wonderful.

I actually hate Billy's hair in either incarnation. But if I had to choose the original look was better.
but his new costume > the old one.

Well you're just weird then. Black is infinitely better than brown.

As for Billy's costumes. I've liked everyone he's had.
I kind of had a soft spot for the Asgardian costume. I liked his staff and the little wings on his headpiece.
But I think that his second costume is the iconic Wiccan look. Doesn't mean the new one should be forgotten, but I like seeing the old one again now and then.

One of the great Wiccan/Hulkling fanartists out there is crisart. Most of his stuff is SFW just be aware some are a little more intimate. I love how he draws so much stuff from sketches to coloured pieces to comics etc., and also visions of them five or ten years from now where they have just a little more hair. :P Are there any other great fanartists worth checking out?

Also, they unknowingly stole my Wiccan 'red hoody and black shirt' cosplay from me. The jerk.
