Just thought this would be a good match up...
Arena fight. No weapons.
Who takes it?

Depends if you consider Karnak's current stuff as valid.
What he has always done. Seeing the flaw in all things and destroying them.
I say that Karnak wins, since it's no weapons and everyone in the Royal Family is a Steve-level supersoldier without even passing trought the mists. If you want to defeat Karnak you need long range weapons.
I'd have to re-read (didn't buy, just leafed through) but a whole pile of crazy crap including cutting a bullet in flight in half with paired fingertips.
Now, dude has never had anything that fast previously that I can remotely think of, even granting that dude has barely appeared previously, in the grand scheme of things. But then again he possibly came back from the dead changed or something.
The first issue of his book was good.
This was totally badass.
i'm with pen on this. what else has he done lately?
Ellis's work again,by the end of this series he should have at least one feat displaying karnak performing an autopsy with his fingernails. While at the same time getting aroused at the sight of freshly cut open subcutaneous tissue.
Oh, Ellis is penning it? Nice. I really like Ellis, but he does tend to let rule of cool take precedence over consistent power levels. He's written both Moon Knight and Batman bullet timing, for example.
I'm on the fence. His most recent feat is impressive, but Karnak has also been taken down by BP (twice IIRC), and I have not seen him defeat someone as skilled as DD. Leaning toward DD atm.
Be the change you wish to see in the world.
Ehh, the second time was more than a bit off considering the first wasn't so much getting taken out as Panther flooring him after dodging a strike from him (and also there's some.. weird badly drawn sort of grapple before the punch), Karnak getting back up, and Panther marvelling that he floored Karnak and the dude just got right back back up. Then Black Bolt rolls up and stops them from fighting anymore. People tend to make more out of it than it is, or intentionally leave out the bottom panels showing Karnak otherwise unimpaired and wanting to keep fighting.
That said, unless something in the new series does note Karnak having come back changed from being dead, I'm kinda iffy on his performances in it, given that again, nothing like em before.
