Anything NOT Marvel & DC would seem to qualify as Independent. Even though Image as a company can command up to 10% or more of the market share not all their books are mainstream. The largest bulk of that market share is Walking Dead, East of West, Lazarus, Invincible and a few others.

Since my last post, I started reading the Transformer books and a few other Image titles. Now I'd have to say:

    1) Transformers: More than Meets the Eye (soon to be TF: Lost Light)
    2) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
    3) Descender

As much as I've tried to do this in my head, I just can't narrow my favs down to 3 titles.

Supporting LION FORGE COMICS and other independent publishers.

Check out Lion Forge's Catalyst Prime Universe. Its the best damned superhero verse in comics. Diverse characters and interesting stories set in a universe where anyone can be a hero. And company that prides itself on representation both in the comics themselves and in the people behind them.

Does 2000 AD count as indie? If so they make the list 4 or 5 killer sci-fi stories every week it is hard to beat the rotating in new stories or going back to expand on an old one. Gives writers some time to break between arcs and come up with good ideas before launching second arcs.
