    That's really hard to answer when you're dealing with schedules that aren't always monthly; many mini-/limited-series; and many other variables that you get with non-DC / non-Marvel titles.

    I guess probably at the moment I'd go with:
    * The Fade-Out
    * Lobster Johnson
    and maybe
    * Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 10
    though Will Eisner's The Spirit and Dead Vengeance could be close,
    and I only just started buying Joe Golem Occult Detective this month.

    I'd have to go with the Dark Circle books I've read:

    the Black Hood
    the Shield
    the Hangman

    I've also been enjoying Masks 2 from Dynamite as well as the Shadow. But the Dark Circle books are actually proving to be among my favorites.

    Ask me again after Atari Force, Rom and Micronauts come out. I'll either love 'em or hate 'em.

    I'm gonna count Image as mainstream and exclude their titles from this list
    Death Head
    Providence
    The Fiction (hoping it comes back)

    Well, I'll just list my three favorite comic series. They're all long-running indies:

    - Usagi Yojimbo
    - Hellboy
    - Love and Rockets

    ... I actually have a forth in my list of favorite series, but considering that Uncle Scrooge is owned by Disney and was at one point the best selling comic in America it doesn't really feel 'indie' to me.
