    Strange Tales #166 Mar 1968
    "Nothing Can Halt... Voltorg!"
    Battling Yandroth's creation Voltorg, Strange slowly begins to learn the machine's flaws.
    Meanwhile, Yandroth grabs Victoria and attempts to make an escape from his base, which is getting trashed in Strange's battle against Voltorg.

    Realizing Voltorg will strike at whatever it thinks its target it is,
    Dr. Strange uses a series of illusions and his levitating ability to trick the machine into smashing its own face with its electric-prods.

    Strange uses this as an opportunity to destroy the creature.

    However, Dr. Strange is unable to stop Yandroth from escaping with Victoria through teleportation tubes.
    Following them, Strange finds himself transported to Stone Henge on Earth, there he is confronted by the spirit of the Ancient One.
    NOTE: Last issue, The name of the robot in the Dr. Strange story was originally called Voltorr. This issue he is called Voltorg.

    Strange Tales #167 Apr 1968
    "This Dream ... This Doom!"
    The Resurrected Ancient One reveals to Dr. Strange that he was able to free himself from the stone prison for which he was trapped in following the defeat of Zom.

    The two then travel together to the Ancient One's Sanctum to try and find where Yandroth had taken Victoria Bentley.
    Using spells they learn that Yandroth had transported the two of them to the Dimension of Dreams.

    Using a magic gem to transport himself there, Strange finds Yandroth and Victoria.
    Yandroth unleashes beings from his dreams (barbarians on horse back and sea monsters) to keep Dr. Strange at bay, while he prepares to shoot Strange with a laser.

    "Exile!"
    Yandroth's shot sends Strange plunging into the abyss, but the Ancient One uses the Trans-Hypnotic Jewel to stop his fall;

    Strange uses his Cloak of Levitation to grab Yandroth, but sees the Viking women about to kill Victoria;

    To save her, he releases his grip on Yandroth, sending him plummeting through the Dimension of Dreams, where he will eventually become nothing more than a dream himself.

    The series continues with Doctor Strange 169.

    Strange Tales #114 Nov 1963
    "The Return of the Omnipotent Baron Mordo!"
    Karl Mordo calls on Doctor Strange to ask for help, disguised as Strange's old friend Sir Clive Bentley.
    Strange travels to Bentley's castle in England.
    Inside the castle, Strange is trapped by the paralyzing vapors of Mordo's magical candles.

    The Ancient One contacts Doctor Strange, but Strange wishes to overcome Mordo alone.

    He issues a mental command to a nearby girl to come to the castle and extinguish the candles.
    The girl is actually Victoria Bentley, daughter of Lord Bentley who has been dead for ten years.

    Mordo returns, attacking Strange with his mental powers and orders Strange to kill Victoria, who possesses a latent mystical talent.
    Just then Strange arrives in his mortal form. it was only his projected image that had been in the castle until then.
    Strange and Mordo do battle in a mystical dimension until Mordo gives up and disappears.

    First appearance of Victoria Bentley.

    Strange Tales #115 Dec 1963
    "The Origin of Doctor Strange"
    Doctor Stephen Strange is a famous surgeon who works only for money, not caring for his patients nor interested in medical research.
    An auto accident damages the nerves in his hands severely and he can never perform an operation again.

    The proud Strange refuses to work for others and ends up on the street.
    He learns about the healing powers of the Ancient One and travels to his sanctuary in India.
    The Ancient One refuses to heal Strange because of his selfish motives,
    but sudden snow forces Strange to remain in the sanctuary until the snow thaws.

    Here he witnesses the Ancient One's pupil, Baron Mordo, launch magical attacks upon his master.
    Mordo casts a spell upon Strange to stop him from warning the Ancient One of the attacks' origins.

    Strange, therefore, resolves to learn the secrets of black magics to defeat Mordo himself.
    The Ancient One accepts Strange as his disciple and dispels Mordo's spell, which he had known about all along.
