Who is your favorite Spidey penciller/artist?

The Spider-Man comics are really lucky to have Ditko and Romita Sr. as the first artists.

I really can't pick between the two.

Still can't pick.

I think we almost have to pick the best artists after the first two, since that's such an obvious choice.

But it still gets hard to choose between McFarlane, Romita Jr, Bagley, Martin and Andru.

Two years later I say Romita Jr.

I guess. I could easily be convinced to go with another.

Ditko is great, but tbh I'd rate Romita Sr. just a bit above him. Not sure why, just my gut feeling.

Mark Bagley is my favorite Spidey artist, thanks to his run on USM. When I'm thinking about the comic versions of the characters, I tend to visualize them as he drew them.

I've also really liked the artwork and covers that Ryan Stegman has been doing for RYV; very nice in terms of expressiveness and detail.
