I'm watching the old Alfred Hitchcock presents stories and they are great. Hitchcock is brilliant in his prelude and epilogue appearances. While it's entirely possible writers were responsible for much of that, for the time, the show was something that was incredible risque.

My take on Hitchcock is 'Brilliant filmmaker, horrendous human being.'

Drinking coffee in the morning is overrated.

Seriously I like to drink it but not daily if I really do need a buzz to stay awake I can just drink a soda or splash my face with water, and when I mention to co-workers I'm not a big coffee drinker then I get weird looks like I just pissed in their coffee pot.

I treat non-coffee drinkers with respect. They mean there's more coffee for me.

I was preparing to say all manner of judgemental nonsense. I bow to your superior wisdom Captain.

    Eat a piece of fruit.

I can drink 24 oz of coffee and take a nap. But an apple will get me over a hump.

That's easy to say when you are not addicted.

    The comics mainly.
I can't judge the first film because I haven't seen it. I saw the second and it was not good.

The first film was better. But if you didn't like the comic, you probably won't like the movie.

I thought the first Kick Ass movie was way better than the comic which was just sorta ok. The sequel film was kind of a mess, I think they forgot it was supposed to be a satire. Having said that, flipping through the most recent comic version with the female Kick Ass, it looks like Millar may have given up on that idea himself.

Millar is letting other writers take over on this and Hit Girl.

Yeah, that's pretty much why I haven't been trying very hard to see it.
Hit Girl is really the only character who interests me in any way. Movies or comics.
I think, with a good writer she has potential.
