Was Venom ever supposed to be funny?
Was Venom ever supposed to be funny?

People keep saying that they find the original Venom hilarious. I don't know why but I am also somebody who does not find Deadpool funny either.
I want folks to stop with the FAKE rage nonsense for anything Marvel or DC does. Especially if it's for youtube hits.
The newest rage is targeting Gotham High because Bruce Wayne is part Asian in it and the writer is a WOMAN.
Funny where was all this rage when guys like Stan Lee was doing Black Batman in Just Imagine or all those elseworld books?
Or does being a white male exclude one from attacks?
Do ANY of these folks research anything?
Did we NOT see a BLACK Justice League in Wally West's mini?
I can't stand bananas.
Apparently, since they attack me every chance they get. When I'm in the same room as them, they sense my presence and will radiate their noxious fumes to climb down my throat and choke the life out of me. The one good thing about being in isolation, no bananas. But they're out there, plotting, and some day, mark my words, they will be the end of me.
I liked the live action Ghost in the Shell. I thought ScarJo did a darn good job as the Major as the so-called whitewashing of the lead role was so much nonsense.
Avatar: Here's to the late, great Steve Dillon. Best. Punisher. Artist. EVER!
I mean it WAS whitewashing. Whether she did a good or bad job is irrelevant to that fact. Her character was Japanese and was played by a white american. Then they tried to explain it and did a bad job that could have been alleviated by actually hiring an Asian actress.
The live actionGhost in the Shell was meh/ok. It was interesting how they recreated scenes from the anime shot for shot. However, the shame is that they completely dumped the philosophical and political themes of the original. The Scarjo movie is pretty shallow in comparison.
For anyone who's interested, the original anime is free on YouTube right now.
