Speaking of Black Panter. I thought it was a good movie but way over hyped. I got sick of hearing about it after awhile.

A lot of the Killmonger was right crowd really didn't look to deeply at him and his motivations. Sure, he may have had a point about Wakanda's isolationism enabling imperialism, but most of his adult life he'd actively participated in that imperialism and his answer was not to denounce imperialism, it was even more imperialism only with him in charge.

Well that happens when you have folks fighting to keep a film like that from being made.

Especially a Disney employee with the power to do it and had to be removed.

It gets to a point of you can't use other black movies to justify not doing a movie.

When the line of failed movies with white guys is long.

Well, most of any of the "Villain Is Right" crowd doesn't look deeply at the characters and their motivation. What I think sets Black Panther apart is that it is a movie about big philosophical debates and the villain actually lead the hero to change his mind about how he was conducting himself. However, the film never tells you to think Killmonger is the good guy. It handles that tightrope very well, which is what I think sets it apart in the world of Marvel movies.

The problem is people overlook the VILLAIN part of the "Sympathetic villain" but I'd ssy its got a hell of a lot more deph and thought behind it then any of the Snyder movies that claim you need to "think deep"

Yep. Numerous people didn't get that Killmonger was a villain, and the movie didn't shy away from that. It didn't matter.

To me it was a middle of the pack Marvel movie. Competently made and enjoyable but with the obvious exception of the mostly black cast didn't do anything special or noteworthy to make it stand out above the other good but not great Marvel movies.

6 I have never found Venom funny outside the Venom movie.
7 00's Marvel comics are worse than 90's Marvel comics.
8 Tumblr is just as unwholesome as 4chan.
9 Tim Burton is a more versatile director then Quentin Tarantino.
10 Nudity all on its own is not porn.

People keep saying that they find the original Venom hilarious. I don't know why but I am also somebody who does not find Deadpool funny either.

I want folks to stop with the FAKE rage nonsense for anything Marvel or DC does. Especially if it's for youtube hits.

The newest rage is targeting Gotham High because Bruce Wayne is part Asian in it and the writer is a WOMAN.

Funny where was all this rage when guys like Stan Lee was doing Black Batman in Just Imagine or all those elseworld books?
Or does being a white male exclude one from attacks?

Do ANY of these folks research anything?

Did we NOT see a BLACK Justice League in Wally West's mini?

No. It was meant to be fairly serious but unintentionally became hilarious.
