A band that certainly found favour from both camps were Motorhead.
Rock music has always been rather clannish to be honest. Mods vs. Rockers. Led Zeppelin vs. Rolling Stones. Punk vs. Prog. Thrash vs. Glam metal. It's a lot more civil than it used to be. Classic Rock radio stations nowadays play music that they wouldn't have touched 20 years ago. It's all been good to me (well, apart from Nu-Metal ).
And for the record: Rockers, Led Zeppelin, Prog and Thrash get my vote.

Oh boy. Papa Roach. I had forgotten about them.
Honestly, I fail to see what the big appeal was. I mean, not a bad movie by any means, but I don't think it's the super-excellent movie some folks think it is.I've seen this opinion being aired more and more on sites like this. I actually think that (with the possible exception of 'The Winter Soldier') it's the best MCU movie yet. I only got round to watching it over the Christmas period.
I think that, without any room for question, the greatest musical of all time is Trey Parker and Matt Stone's Cannibal! The Musical
Ketchup goes pretty good with hot dogs, Dirty Harry be damned.
I prefer hot dogs.
Avatar: Here's to the late, great Steve Dillon. Best. Punisher. Artist. EVER!
I did too actually. I think it depends on what sort of area you are in. When I was a kid I was bullied quite a bit by metal kids and most of them were real scum bags. As I got older I met metal fans who were more nerd type people and eventually became a fan myself. A lot of the "cool" people into metal were nerd types who were also into D&D, comics, etc...Unfortunately those types were not in the small city I grew up in.
