I've recently started visiting online dating sites and what I learned there is the stuff of nightmares. Most women seem to go for a certain male ideal I've despised my whole life. As an aside, I once read an interview with Alan Grant where he described himself as a hack - precisely for this reason. He churned out work quite rapidly and didn't put his heart and soul into it. Luckily for him, he's a talented writer, so he still produced good work.
