After watching some of his Bruce Campbell vs the audience videos on Youtube (from diverse book signings and Cons)... BC would make a terrific Joker. He has that mean-spirited yet entertaining sense of humor the Joker has been lacking for a long time. In his youth, he even had the look. WB should just get in touch with him as a voice actor and let him improvise. What a great guy.
Speaking solely from personal experience threesomes are overrated, especially when you're doing all the heavy lifting.
Alongside The Empire Strikes Back Revenge of the Sith is my favorite Star Wars movie.
DmC: Devil May Cry was not only underrated but it was an actually enjoyable game.
Owning selling and purchasing Nazi or Confederate memorabilia should not only be illegal but considered an act of treason.
When looked at with scrutiny the mutant-minority parallel in the X-Men falls apart.
Somewhere, a nerd cries. I feel nothing.
I hate beer. There! I said it!
Avatar: Here's to the late, great Steve Dillon. Best. Punisher. Artist. EVER!
I like Stranger Things, really i do. But it's strength is mostly just nostalgia porn, and the core characters and, frankly nothing else. The creatures are also woefully uninteresting. But like i said the core characters themselves are still fantastic, the plot though is just bland..
Absolutely. Stranger Things was probably the best show I watched last year and I really enjoyed the second season, but the characters are the draw of the show. I'd watch these characters in just about any type of show, but I don't think I really care for this show if the characters were less well written or less well acted. I wouldn't necessarily call the plot bland per se, because the character arcs are part of the plot, but you're definitely on to something.
I hate modern superhero costume design. Adding all those seams and lines, and textures to the costumes to make them look more like movie costumes just takes away the over the top energy superheroes work best in. Costumes these days just look overly complicated, stiff, and too similar to each other.
I don't much care for it either. I generally only drink it when I visit a country where cider isn't available and wine is extortionately expensive. Luckily those countries (like China and Thailand) tend to have much nicer beer. It takes a couple of days to acclimatise, but then I start managing to enjoy it.
Me to. I Feel part of the reason why so few new superheroes catch on nowadays is partially do to the fact that so many of them are either retreads or are trying to be to realistic costume wise, and thus their costumes don’t stand out. The whole reason superheroes wear costumes is to stand out on a comic shelf filled with other heroes. Out of all the superhero costumes created in the last 25 years or so how many can you say are truely iconic. As weird as it sounds the 90’s were probably the last era of truely iconic design. Then I’d argue realism took over. Partly due to artist like Alex Ross who put more focus on depicting heroes realistically visually, and partly due to the comic hero as movie star trend that started in the 90’s. Suddenly outlandish costumes that only work in comics became a hinderence to creators who were trying to make multi media franchises, not just comicbook heroes.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
I don't like Budweiser. But I do drink a fair amount of malt liquor.
A bat! That's it! It's an omen.. I'll shall become a bat!
