I like guacamole as an occasional thing on a sandwich. And sometimes as a dip. I couldn't eat it all the time though.

'best for what it goes with' means I agree with that, but slap a bowl of vanilla sans anything and a bowl of Sherbet in front of me and I'll take the sherbet 9/10.

The point being to make the guy from the other team fall, not to hurt him.

Anything that can cause a player to hit his head on the ground causes brain trauma. In American football it usually isn't the intention to hurt the other player, just get them on the ground too.
There are penalties for unnecessary roughness, ie intentionally trying to hurt another the other player. So I don't really see rugby as a solution either if it involves bringing the other player to the ground.

Except for the part about thinking the world was flat 500 years ago. Even the ancient Greeks knew the world was round. Columbus's voyages starting in 1492 were based on the idea the world was
round and the faster way to get to the East Indies was to sail west. The only thing people didn't know was there was a whole continent in the way because the Native Americans, Vikings and the Chinese
didn't leave any records of them having been there that were available to Columbus.

I sort of grew up on avocados so I love the taste. I think lots of foods that some people find yucky are probably because they aren't used to eating them.

Well, guacamole is like "Good" smoked fish/pesto/head cheese in that regard. If the basic premise really doesn't click with you(let alone is one you think is horrible), I tend to doubt that there is a version that will find you giving it a second thought.
