Well I am a critical thinker, but I do have a knee jerk reaction to creationism, 2nd Amendment gun nuts and the Orangutan in the Oval Office.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
Mankind will never get right with mankind.
Sounds more like Robert Heinlein's BEYOND THIS HORIZON to me.
Ditko's work doesn't IMO dwell on libertarian ideals. He usually evinces respect for the rule of law, as long as it reflects his conception of rational society.

I think integration was a double edge sword for the black community.
Segregation should have never happened in the first place.
