Video games that only exist for pvp or are only fun if you play online aren't good games. Basically if a game doesn't offer or have a fun single player option it's missing a huge part of what video games a re supposed to be.

Well I am a critical thinker, but I do have a knee jerk reaction to creationism, 2nd Amendment gun nuts and the Orangutan in the Oval Office.

I'm always wary of any claim that anything ever is "supposed to be" anything.

I have no interest in PvP only games, but I wouldn't dream of claiming they're not good games because of it. They're just games I'm not interested in.
